Join Our Forest tribe

How it works: let The Journey Begin

We are so excited to welcome your child into our lil neck of the park. We’ve designed our enrollment process to be as intentional as our time in the woods. Whether you are joining us for the full school year or a seasonal immersion, you are stepping into a community that values freedom, curiosity, and the deep joy of childhood.

How to Enroll

We use ActivityHero to keep our registration process simple and secure.

  1. Select Your Program:
Choose between our Daily Forest School (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM) or our Holiday & Summer Camps (9 AM - 3 PM).

  2. Secure Your Spot: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration. This deposit serves as your commitment to our small-group tribe and allows us to secure our expert mentors and maintain our intimate 1:5 ratio.

  3. Your Investment: Rest assured, 100% of your deposit is applied directly toward your total tuition balance. In alignment with our sustainability policy, we do not offer refunds, credits, or make-up days for absences.

  4. Confirm Your Commitment:
For Summer Camps, we ask families to commit to the full two-week session. This consistency allows the children to form deep peer bonds and supports the steady "rhythm of the grove."

After You Register: The Insider Map

Once your registration is complete, the forest doors open! You will receive an automated confirmation providing immediate access to our Private Family Portal.

The Portal is your go-to resource for:

  • The Weekly Coordinates: Specific meeting locations and planned nature projects are updated here every Friday for the week ahead. Please bookmark the portal link to check your locations before each session.

  • The Field Kit Guide: A detailed list to ensure your explorer is ready for the elements (including our "Quick-Access" clothing requirements + potty readiness).

  • The Parent Handbook: A PDF guide to our philosophy, safety protocols, and daily flow.

  • Release & Waiver Forms: All necessary documentation to be completed before the first day, if you haven’t completed online.

By shifting to a self-service portal, we ensure our mentors can spend their time preparing the grove for your children rather than managing administrative emails.

Quick Enrollment Checklist

  • Ages: 2.5 to 6 years old (flexible based on group balance).

  • Potty Readiness: Preferred, but not required. We support children where they are, including those learning the art of the "nature pee." See below for more details.

  • Outdoor Experience: We welcome both seasoned "forest scouts" and brand-new "cubs." (Please let us know if this is your child's first nature immersion).

  • Hours: *School Year: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, M-F / *Holiday & Summer: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (Extended care available)

  • Gear: Check our Field Kit Guide to ensure your explorer has "Quick-Access" layers (elastic waists!) and is ready for all weather.

  • At Forest Bloom, we believe nature is the ultimate teacher of autonomy. We look for a few "Forest Readiness" markers to ensure your child thrives:

    • Outdoor Experience: We welcome both seasoned "forest scouts" and brand-new "cubs." If this is your child’s first all-weather nature immersion, please let us know! We take extra care to mentor new explorers as they adjust to the sensory experience of the wind, mud, and trail.

    • Physical Stamina: Our programs are 100% outdoors. Children should be comfortable walking on uneven terrain and engaging in active play for the duration of the session.

    • The Goal: We focus on building "outdoor endurance" and resilience, helping children feel at home in the elements.

  • Our approach to bathroom independence and "nature pees."

While we do not strictly require children to be fully potty-trained, it is strongly preferred. We support every child where they are in their journey:

    • Facilities: We utilize on-site restrooms when available and a private, portable "grove potty" when we are deeper in the woods.

    • The "Nature Pee": We teach children the sacred art of the nature pee—learning to listen to their bodies and tend to their needs with respect for the Earth.

    • The "Quick-Access" Rule: To support this independence, all explorers must wear "Quick-Access" clothing. This means elastic waistbands only—please avoid belts, overalls, or complex buttons that hinder a child's ability to act quickly.

  • To protect our small-group intimacy and the livelihood of our expert mentors, we maintain a strict 1:5 ratio.

    • Non-Refundable Deposit: A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot. This is applied to your tuition but is non-refundable, as it secures our staffing and resources.

    • Sustainability Policy: In alignment with our commitment to our mentors, we are unable to offer credits, refunds, or make-up days for absences or missed sessions.

    • Rhythm & Consistency: For Summer Immersions, we require a full two-week commitment to ensure a stable and harmonious peer group
