We are Hiring! Join the Forest Bloom Tribe
We are looking for Co-Learners & Navigators
At Forest Bloom, we believe the child is a "rich child"—capable, strong, and full of potential. We are seeking heart-centered Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers / Camp Counselors who don't just "watch" children, but wonder alongside them, documenting the magic found in the mud, the trees, and the shifting seasons.
If you LOVE kids and have an affinity with nature, the forest, agriculture, and the outdoors in general: please apply!

Assistant Teacher / Camp Counselor (The Partner in Play)
Ideal for those who love nature and value a collaborative, joyful teaching environment.
Joyful Facilitation: Support daily rhythms, transitions, and small-group nature explorations.
Tending the Grove: Help maintain a safe outdoor space and document "light-up" moments.
The Essentials: Previous 1+ years experience with preschool/elementary school-age children required; a "Forest Ready" heart; and a willingness to learn. We welcome multi-lingual candidates!

How to Apply
To respect our school's workflow and stay present with the children, please no phone calls or texts to Susie. Our hiring process flows entirely through email.
Please email Susie at FORESTBLOOMOUTDOORSCHOOL@GMAIL.COM with your Resume, Summer/Holiday Availability (Part-Time & Seasonal) and a Short Intro answering these four questions:
Subject Line: [Your Name] – [Lead or Assistant] Teacher Application
The Nature Connection: Why do you feel called to work outdoors? How does the earth inform who you are as a teacher?
The Teacher as Student: Tell us a story about a specific moment in nature where a child became your teacher. What did you learn?
The Philosophy: We believe the child is the Captain. How do you practice "stepping back" to let them lead while maintaining a safe "cage" for them to fly?
The Forest Reality: Describe a time an outdoor plan went "wrong" (weather or mishap). How did you use your intuition to keep the magic alive?
Please also highlight any additional cool skills, talents, or languages you can share with our preschool summer campers (ages 2.5 - 6).
